If we look back at inventors, such as Thomas Edison, he made lots of mistakes when inventing the light bulb, it was trial an error.  Each time he made a mistake it brought him closer to the solution - the invention of the light bulb.

As managers, if we focus on point the finger and placing the blame, how is that going to benefit the company or anyone else?  It simply does not.  

When a mistake is made, our job as managers and productive employees is to simply come up with solutions and procedures to ensure the same mistake doesn&#039;t happen again and develop a framework from which to address similar issues in the future.  If the mistake had not happened, just think of the knowledge we would have missed out on, the opportunity for growth lost.</description>
